When is Cookery?
Cookery is on a Tuesday from 3-4pm.
Who can attend Cookery?
Cookery is offered to pupils in P5.
What happens during Cookery?
In Cookery club the children get the opportunity to experience being in the kitchen. They learn to plan, prepare and cook with fresh ingredients and over the weeks in cookery make a range of sweet and savoury dishes. We also look at reading and following recipes, measuring ingredients, understanding food labels, food safety skills and the importance of good hygiene in the kitchen.
The children get to take home the items they have made each week to enjoy later on.
