Forest School

Forest Friday is a special day of the week; it is when we have our own Forest School sessions. These extended outdoor sessions take place in our own school grounds. Activities include shelter building – large and small, colour and shape matching, weather watching, development of listening skills and natural crafts. Each session has a theme and involves a whole class and group activity as well as time for individual exploration and play. These days encourage the children to become more independent and to challenge themselves in different ways.
